Talk of the Town: Hurricane Katrina

Thursday September 15, 2005
This week's featured moderator question has to do with what's been on everyone's mind lately... namely, the Katrina hurricane, flood, and aftermath. Being from New Orleans, I've posted a lengthy and detailed version of my own personal experience, and I encourage all visitors to this site to do the same... if you don't have a story of your own (or a story of someone else's) to tell, you can feel free to comment on the disaster and the response to it, as well as the various debates that have popped up since. Because of the extreme nature and definite gravity of this situation, I'm allowing non-oldies comment to run wild in this thread only.

I've posed this week's question in the forum... just click on the link above to read the responses. If you'd like to add your own voice to the discussion, signing up is quick, easy, free, and painless!
