Review: Ray Davies: Other People's Lives
Monday February 27, 2006
Believe it or not, the legendary lead singer and chief songwriter of the Kinks has never put out a full-length, original solo album. Until now, that is -- recorded in 2002 and 2003, these 13 new songs deal with his own mortality, the final and complete breakup of his old band, and his subsequent move to New Orleans. Read my review to find out why, slick production aside, this is a must have for even casual Kinks fans.
