Berry Gordy, legendary founder of Motown Records, is preparing "Motown: The Musical" to open on Broadway next April, and you could be in it -- especially if you think you can imitate one of the '60s soul label's iconic stars. 8-11 year old males who can imitate the young Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson are needed, as well as actors/singers in their '20s who can approximate the look and sound of Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, and Diana Ross, as well as bass vocalists who can round out the production's many vocal harmony groups. Auditions will be held in Detroit and New York City on November 3, Los Angeles on the 10th, Chicago on the 18th, and Atlanta on December 1. If you're interested, you can email casting@motownthemusical.com or visit the production's website. Michael Jackson wannabes are instructed to learn either "I Want You Back," "I'll Be There," or "Who's Loving You," so be prepared!
