The 45th annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has announced its lineup, and as usual, several prominent oldies-era purveyors of rock, soul, and R&B will be in attendance. Heading the phenomenally popular seven-day, two-weekend music and cultural festival in April 2013 for the first time will be Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Hall and Oates, as well as The Black Keys, John Mayer, Jimmy Cliff, B.B. King, Band of Horses, Jill Scott, Frank Ocean and Jeffrey Osborne, not to mention the usual host of legendary R&B and jazz musicians who make up New Orleans' cultural heritage. Tickets are already on sale at nojazzfest.com and ticketmaster.com... as usual with the Fest, many more artists will be added in the four months to come, so stay tuned here for the latest.
