Question: Are there any newer groups that perform in the Northern Soul style?
Answer: While a number of Northern Soul tribute and show bands roam England these days (DC Fontana, Northern Souled, Diane Shaw, Leroy Johnson's Northern Soul, The Northern Soul Band, The Roundels), there are some individual acts that create new, original music in the style, particularly Angelo Starr, Casino, This Is Seb Clarke, Jimmy James and the Youngbloods, Voices With Soul, and Vanessa Haynes.
