History:
  • Yet another attempt at a Smokey Robinson tribute by John, this album track somewhat resembles in form the Miracles' "You Can Depend On Me," a b-side from 1960.
  • This track was recorded at the third session for With The Beatles, just after "Little Child" and just before "Not A Second Time."
Trivia:
  • John has said that the line "All I gotta do is call you on the phone" reflects his desire to write songs for the American market, as telephones were largely a luxury in poverty-stricken postwar England.
