MY SISTER TOMMIE, THE TAMMI TERRELL BIOGRAPHY
by LUDIE MONTGOMERY and VICKIE WRIGHT
Tammi Terrell is best remembered for her work with Marvin Gaye in creating some of the greatest Motown recordings - "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing," and "You're All I Need to Get By," among them. She died in 1970 at the age of 24. For the first time, Tammi's story is told, as it really was, by her sister Ludie Montgomery.

Hi Ladies!
But could tolerate the stardom.
I loved your book. It was so very close
that I am back as I was in 1970. I don’t agree with anything said about D.Ruffin except “so long”…if you all only knew…
I was Tammi’s very good friend. My brother called Ludie when she was Ludie
Crawford…his name was Michael. He also passed…he killed himself when Tammi died…now tell me that anyone loved her more? I also think he was mental.
But bless him he loved her so much and they had dated off and on for a long time. He met her when he picked me up from Motown-LA. She and he really loved
each other.
I was a very good friends with her.
I will just say celebrities know celebrities and people know people. Tammi was a people
If she had lived Diane Ross would have not been near where she is/was.
Everyone knew that at Motown. Still do.
I would LOVE to meet you Ludie!
Love,
Tre’
